Bloody Coop didn't have any fresh parsnip, so I got some frozen roasted parsnip. Very nice it was too. Turned out the best roast dinner I've had for a while.

I will eat anything Elvis, as long as I know how to cook it properly. I've eaten snakes and lizards, but I've not knowingly eaten insects YET. People might surprise themselves, at what they will eat if they are hungry enough. There's no bad food, it's just somes better than others.

I was thinking more on the lines of roasted scorpions Elvis. In fact I would like to roast them, coz they dont half hurt when they sting. I've been stung so many times I'm immune to their poison, but it still hurts and their big stinger makes you bleed a lot. I would like to cook them alive, horrible things they are.

I was going to have fish and chips tonight, but the chippy had shut his fryer down just before I got there. So I had 2 jumbo sausages, fish cake, steak pie, chips and mushy peas. That cleared his shelf off so he could go home. I dont think I've had a meal like that since my wife was pregnant, and afterwards I thought I was.

I got abducted again yesterday. An alien dumped me at my house, with a packet of Old El Paso tortillas, a jar of roasted peppers and a Samsung 1Tb hard drive. The aliens must have rechipped my head; coz I know what the hard drives for, but tortas are the only Costa Rican dish I never think of making normally. Makes a nice change though.
