I defraggmented my deep freeze the night before last, so I had some braized steak last night. It just fell to pieces; if I had eat it 7 years ago instead of freezing it, it would probably been like eating old boots. I might have a 9 year old leg of lamb on Sunday. I'v got a 2 lb half leg of lamb that cost £2.64 when I froze it, now the butchers are scared to show the prices of their lamb.

I stopped by the chippy last night and got a large Cod and chips. Saved a bit of cooking and warming up the flat. Eat too early though and had the munchies all night.

Mince and tatties tonight. I expect my mince would be too spicy to sell as chili con carne and it certainly had too much carne in it. What most places sell as chili con carne, is chili y frijoles con caldo and I put more chilli on my cornflakes than they put in it. Mince and tatties has got to be the most delicious English dish there is. I had two big bowls of it and will have whats left over for breakfast, with a couple of fried duck eggs on the top.
