I tried Firefox last year for a month or so, but although it was quite pretty to look at, it wouldn't let you upload photoes, emoticons and the like, and most of your choices of text formatting went as well. If Mozilla could get over those hurdles it would be a winner, I'm sure.

When I am in Windows Vista I use IE, but when I am in Linux OS Gnome, then I use Firefox, but not all that familiar with it yet, and feel more comfortable with IE.

I use Maxthon as my default browser, but do have IE8 Beta 2, Firefox 3.0.3, Opera 9.62, Google Chrome (which is horrible, don't know why I still have it. LOL) When I read in a forum that something doesn't work with a certain browser, I like to check it out myself with that same browser to see if it's really the browser or machine specific. That way I can go back and make some suggestions and try to help solve the problem.
Good heavens, you didn't want us to write a book, did you? LOL

Just wait until Maxthon 3.0 comes out using a different engine instead of the IE core. It's going to knock all the other browsers out of contention. I've heard it's 3 times as fast as Firefox and Chrome. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Browser loyalty is a strange thing though. It will have to very special for me to consider dtching Firefox. And even if it is half of what it's supposed to be, I do like to use the same browser in Windows and Linux, and I assume there won't be a Linux version available?

I would never change from Firefox now. We have been using it for a good while now and love it. I used it with IE Tab at MSN so I never had the need for IE there anymore.

MSN for me ... the only thing I've been shown and am familiar with! I take it there's much better out there though. Think I need to experiment more! Jules.

The MSN browser is a bit too 'comic book' for my liking
Experiment by all means, it doesn't hurt to have several browsers installed, just be careful you set your most used one to the default browser - or watch when you install a new one anyway, because it will try to take over
