Ho, Ho, Ho, Happy Christmas and goodwill to all men - they're not real men though, so it doesn't count I'm not homophobic, it just irritates me when they camp it up and talk in stupid effeminate voices - for no reason. Your sexual orientation doesn't affect your vocal chords

I wasn't homophobic, but they are shoving it down your throat now. They have even got queer puppets in the adverts. If they find a black lesbian with one leg and 10 kids, she will become another Oprah overnight. Even if your as dim as a Toc H lamp, if your camp enough they will give you your own show. These day you have either got to be gay or a cook to get anywhere on British TV, and if your both you have got it made. I'm sick of it and wont even turn on the channels that they rob me of £150.50 not to watch.

Cheers sweetheart, but it's anathema to a system builder to accept a pre-built PC. It's like offering Gordon Ramsey a microwave meal :-p Thanks for the thought though xx

Staying away from computer stuff; not a good idea to buy for a techie like Mikkh so this time a ticket for a Pantomime in Nottingham and then onto 'High Pavement' where I have left money behind every bar up that street. When you have had enough, just ask any bartender for the details on how you can get home. They are looking out for you and have the details on the driver and car I have paid for....now will you be able to get to all these places on your own with your leg in a cast?

Bits of computers are fine, just not ready built ones - or most of them from the big companies anyway. About time I bought you a present lavender-rooms.co.uk/packages.aspxThe Lavender Rooms Luxury Half Day - You deserve to be pampered

Are there any bars in High Pavement Lynnrose?? I dont go down there very often, I only know there are money lenders and the small claims office. Theres the entrance to Broardmarsh at the top and St Peters Square or whatever at the bottom. If there are any bars they must be so grotty, they dont register in my head. Next to Broadmarsh theres a coffee bar that I think serves alcohol at a price, but I wouldn't call it a bar. I dont know how easy would be to get a cab from there, its a pedestrian area and Mikk would have to hop up to the Lace Market.

I'm practically teetotal anyway and never been drunk in my life, although I've staggered a bit occasionally in my younger days but that's not proper drunk is it? Or let's put it this way - I've never had a hangover
If I do imbibe, I'm more likely to have a decent Whisky or 'Southern Comfort' than beer because it just makes me feel bloated after about 3 pints. I quite like 'Bailey's' too even if it is considered to be a girly drink

Vodka and orange for me

If Bailey's is considered a girly drink, vodka and orange is a right fairy drink. No wonder Elvis prances about, I think he was a ballet dancer. Fancy taking a drink made with good healthy grain and diluting it with something full of sugar. He will be telling me next he puts ice in it, made with water full of chlorine. They go to all the trouble to distill a pure wholesome drink and then people destroy it with unhealthy additives.

I'm as happy as a sand boy Elvis. Everybody have left me alone and my phone has only rung once in 3 days. I've got most of the snags ironed out of my new simulator and I've been flying all over the place. I even buzzed Mikks house in an old DC3 at 08.10 this morning, before heading back down to Gatwick.

I like this excerpt from a definition of 'happy as a sand boy' I found American readers will probably be more familiar with 'as happy as a clam', which originated in the USA in the 19th century. The Australian version is 'as happy as Larry', which (probably) originated there. Other creatures that are reputedly more than usually happy are larks, dogs with two tails and pigs in shlt. Another one I've heard locally, which seems to make no sense - 'Happy as a dead bird' or the very localised (Yorkshire ?) 'happy as a dead bod'
