Just watched it on ITV player and apart from being annoyed at how much coverage they give to the hopeless tone deaf dreamers, the last act was worth waiting for
Danyl is a born performer with the voice to match - best first audition ever says Simon Cowell, I think he's about right and someone is not going to be a teacher for very much longer

yes i have watched this programme, and more and more feel disbeleive that loved ones and close family members would, sort of allow or encourage the so called singers to take part...............allowing the loved one to be humiliated on stage in front of so many people.................cant figure that

It's a strange format when the obvious dreamers and glory hunters get more coverage for being terrible, than the genuine talent does. I watched in disbelief the other week when they showed several of the truly terrible from start to finish, then showed the panel saying yes to several artists without us hearing one note of their performance !!
As for families/friends putting them up to it, well they're either gutless or sadistic, but the makers of the program obviously want these tragi-comic wannabe singers to make fools of themselves for entertainment purposes - it just makes me cringe though
I guess they see it as if everyone was good, it would be boring. But some of the "singers" themselves are so deluded, they only believe they're bad when the panel has told them so and I suspect a lot just want a chance of being on TV - even if that means showing themselves up

It's a shame we have to watch these hopeless cases on peak time TV on a Saturday evening. I can't wait for "Strictly Come Dancing"

They are not going to show you all the reasonable ones they send through or there wouldn't be any new material or surprise factor in the next round of auditions. Most of the dross that gets featured know how bad they are and rely on the fact to get on the telly. What does amaze me are the proportion of truly dreadful performers (for want of a better word) who are convinced they are good and for their family and (so called) Friends who haven't told them they are rubbish. I told both my children from quite an early age that they better not rely on their singing voices for a career.

Yes, they're beyond poor and an insult to those who have got knocked out.
It must be bad enough getting sent home, but knowing the terrible twins are staying must be really galling and a huge kick in the teeth.
Who's voting for them? Tone deaf grannies who think twins are cute? Moonstruck teens who like wasting the credit on their mobile phones? Irish people with a misplaced sense of loyalty?
Enjoy the brief bit of fame boys, because you definitely aren't winning X factor and will be forgotten in a few weeks.

I like Jamie Archer, but as a solo artist, not sure? Stick him front of a good rock band and yes I think he would produce the goods. Your right Mikkh, it's the fact they have ousted some reasonably talented people through the auditions that bugs me. It really isn't their fault, the blame initially lays at the feet of the grinning Irish twit who believes that if anyone comes from Ireland they must be good, Louis Walsh. The British public have proved yet again that they will vote against all reason if they think they are either upsetting someone or going against the grain for the sheer hell of it.

OMG the terrible twins are still in - when will common sense prevail? This shows already dying credibility will be zero if they actually win.
And Simon, you gutless idiot. It was obvious the cute Lloyd would have more public votes, so you're decision to go 'deadlock' signed Rachels death sentence.
She was never going to win it, but she deserved a few more weeks of fame
Lloyd has been weak all the way through and has scraped by on his looks, now he's got the sympathy vote too - his future is in (ham) acting I reckon

It's like an ongoing nightmare, and now the much better Lucie has been sacrificed
Simon, you're a spineless hypocrite. The two girls were honest/brave enough to vote against the twins, yet for the second week running you wimped out and went for deadlock again - shame on you.
Amazingly, the twins 'sing off' performance was actually quite good - for them anyway, but still not anywhere near the real singers in the competition.

Simon has got exactly what he wants by keeping the twins in. Which contestants have filled the most column inches in the press, filled hours of radio and TV air time and thousands upon thousands of forums and blogs such as this one. He knew the twins would be kept in by the public vote because he is privy to the figures at the end of each weeks show. It was a cold business decision which has nothing to do with talent, controversy brings viewers, viewers bring revenue....plain and simple.

I am not a devotee of X-Factor but it is obvious that the way it is mapping out is that someone (Simon Cowell) is in for material gain rather than promoting a career for a 'hopeful' Those twins should have been OUT in the first round, they are a joke, to ditch Lucie was utterly ludicrous. I have to say the only interesting viewing on this farcical show is Cheryl Cole. at least she appears to be sincere. The presenter 'shouts' and the whole thing is second rate and Americanised (no offence to our US friends). Oh well, back to the Beeb, (Strictly), Alicia Keys is the only stumbling block there, yuck!!

Oh yes, that's what I'm talking about - well done Dannii for having the balls that Simon didn't have - the terrible twins are gone hoooooorah!
... and the best two acts on the result show for a long time
Susan Boyle was great and Mariah Carey even better
happy days are here again ;o)
