I was in Blackwells Charing Cross Road this afternoon and they are introducing an Espresso Book Machine which has a database of nearly 500,000 titles and is expected to rise to 2/3 million over the next few months. If they haven't got the title you want in stock they can print and bind a paperback from the database in about 10 minutes. And you can have a coffe and browse while you wait. Isn't technology amazing! I wouldn't be surprised if you could take in a CD of your online manuscript and they would print out a few copies while you wait. Instant publishing.

Currently reading Necrophenia by Robert Rankin If you have not read any of his Id recommend them! But his style is a wee bit weird However my favourite author is Stephen King mainly the Horror ones but i have given the Sci Fi a shot not too keen on them His best work has to be "The Stand" the mini TV series is great too

We have a great idea at work where - if you have finished with a book and no longer want it, you leave it as a book swop for someone else to have. I have just picked up 'Dear Fatty' in hardback by Dawn French and have already had a giggle at the first chapter. Looking forward to the rest.
My fav author has to be Marian Keyes
