I don't now where it is Nocky i did not take any of the Scotland Piccys or the Turkey or some of the others, friends take them for me but i will have too find out where it was it probably was Stirling Castle

Managed to get one decent pic of this buzzard outside the Citadel in Plymouth today. First time I've seen one so close to the city centre.

I read the National Union of Twitchers have had lots of reports of large birds of prey hanging around cities. They think it could be a sign of bad weather to come and their normal grub has all dug in for the duration. I saw a Jay fly down into a garden the other day, but he never showed himself when I grabbed my camera. They have got to be one of the shyest birds in the country and they never ever ventured into a town. We have quite a variety of hawks in this city, but they are usually seen sitting on the arms of the people they own.
