Not so many years ago Nocky, we had the biggest fleet in the world just to keep them foreign ships out. You would think we would have a go at Portugal, while we have still got a fleet. They are the only country left in the world, we have never declared war on.

Hi Ken, what do you think these Viking ships? Todays visitors, a pair of Swedish corvettes. ;D

I saw something about the Swedish speedboats on Discovery Nocky. They use stealth technology, I wouldn't have thought that very useful in fog. Dodge all the missiles, only to get run over by a super tanker 10 minutes from home port. They look more like a power boat than a war ship. A power boat with a dunces cap on.

The first thing I noticed watching them come in was that even though they were following the Pilot boat, and presumably were inside the speed limit, they seemed to be flying. Definitely built for speed. You get a better idea of how the camo paint job looks here, they appear to have been painted onto the pic, might use this one in the Art Project. ;D

Thanks Lynnrose, very interesting. I like the Finnish Hamina class fast attack boat better. The same jet powered V hull but more nasty looking on top. They are nasty too when they let their missiles go. They are a wee bit faster than most of the rust buckets I've driven.

That is a very nicely Photoshopped photo maggiemay, thank you for posting it, but we are actually looking for original untouched photos to use in the Art Project. If you'd care to post an original copy, we would be more than happy to use it. Why don't you join us over in the Art Project, you're more than welcome to join in the fun. ;D
