Thanks to Angels kind contribution of photos to use, plus a couple of my own pics, we have enough material to carry on with the project for a while, but more contributions would be very welcome, the more variety of pics we have, the more interesting it will be. Here's a couple of mine to add to Angels.

One of the des res's where I used to live. My old landlady's dead and it fell in the dock during an earthquake about 1983, so I dont think any real estate agent has a claim on the copyright. It was built in the 30s so I think designers patent will have run out by now.

I've been to the Museum of Witchcraft as well, Nocky; the only part of Boscastle we liked.

Thanks for your nice pic KC, looks very tropical.
I like the Boscastle area Angel, some terrific cliff views and walks along that stretch of coast.

There are a few houses and small farms on the edge of the jungle Nocky, but most of it is the Toucan National Park. Its full of parrots, monkeys, snakes and a leopards. Costa Rica has the most different types of animals and plants in the Americas. Its right in the middle and you get northern animals and southern animals. Its not short of creepy crawlies either, everything from miniture ants to bird eating spiders.

Port Everglades back in the days when I was still a mere mortal. This is the Carmania, us and our sister ship the Franconia were the only ships cruising out of Miami then. Fort Lauderdale was still a village, how things have changed.

The flowers look very nice Nocky.
What are the 2 frigates, fishery protection changing patrols?? Cant see if theres any ensignia on them skinny exhaust pipes they put on them these days. They looked better when they had big chimneys and big guns.

That's HMS Gloucester behind the Dutch frigate Van Amstel Ken. I didn't have my binoculars with me today, but I just blew the pic up to the max to read the numbers, and those two came up. Here's a clearer shot of the Dutchman. ;D

I can see the red white and blue on that one Nocky. Shes wont be on fishery patrol, probably got a load of black market prawns onboard. Nearly all the prawns on the winkle stands come from Holland these days. I dont think we have got many shrimp boats left now, if fact we haven't got many fishing boats left of any kind. I lived in Rotterdam for a while, get on well with the Dutchmen. Bloody good sailors. Thats not a bad looking ship, but shes not that modern. These modern ships look like cardboad boxes.

We get loads of foreign warships visiting Ken, mostly NATO countries. They take part in the FOST training exercises in the Channel off Devon and Cornwall.
