Super Tux?

Can anybody tell me how i can kill the monster in Super Tux?

By collecting the powerups - and not losing them

First power up doubles tux in size, second gives him a weapon to use

..... can't do it without that

I have tried with power ups and the fire balls and still the b&%£ won't die I've been doing this for ages is their some sort of knack

Yes, it's not easy. The newer (development) version is prettier and fixes a few glitches from earlier versions - but they've also tweaked the difficulty level, making it harder

I could race through 8 levels or more before without trying too hard, but I had a quick go last night and wasn't getting past more than 3, and never found your Yeti monster

I presume it comes down from that ledge at some point? so I'm guessing a combination of jumping on it's head and firing shots at it, is the way to kill it.

I find it helps if you play full screen too - and change the up key to jump (up is only used to navigate to new levels, so any key will do)

I have done it before and i find most of it is easy with a few levels hard and i have got past the yeti but i cant for the life of me remember how i did it, i will give your suggestion a go and see if it will work. Thanks

The yeti is their but you can't get him till near the end.


"I presume it comes down from that ledge at some point?" yes it jumps from that ledge to the ground (at the middle of the Piccy) then back to the top over the other ledge and repeats it back and fourth.

I do play full screen but needed to get a piccy so had to make the piccy smaller so i could make a screen shot of it.

Well i got the yeti you have to jump and hit him on the back of the head 3 times and he hits the dust. ;D
