.... pity about the lack of instructions!
I got an email a few weeks ago telling me I was due for an equipment upgrade - well overdue (still had the hub 3) by my reckoning but better late than never.
They told me I was getting the hub 4 which I thought was a bit strange, so when it arrived today I was pleased to see it was actually the newer hub 5 they had sent.
Apart from safety instructions, the only real instructions were a tiny slip of paper with a QR code to scan to get wi-fi
Nothing about the ethernet connections which include a 2.5 Gbit port, one marked INT and two unmarked.
It was sort of obvious the INT port should be the one to use, but I have a 2.5 Gbit ethernet connector on my computer and wanted to use that.
Turns out you can't and you must use the INT port before it works properly or at all.
New toy, improved wi-fi speed (apparently) but I think I was getting full wired speed on my phone before anyway.
The real test will be how quickly it loads in the morning - always switch it off at night. The old hub 3 was pretty painful, get up, put the kettle on, make a cup of tea, wash the pots (if any) and it might be close to being ready!

Not quite as painful as the old hub, but I still have to make a cup of tea before it's ready in the morning!
The wi-fi is definitely better for most things, but strangely seems slower for my old printer.
It's due to be replaced soon though, I'm treating myself to an Epson EcoTank printer in the not too distant future.
