Duck Duck go Browser?

Duck, Duck, go Browser. Has anyone tried this Browser, and if so, is it any good?

There doesn't seem to be a Linux version and it would have to be something very remarkable to beat what is already available in the browser market.

The DuckDuckGo search engine has been an option in Linux browsers for a long time for those people afraid/paranoid of the big bad wolf Google.

The browser seems to be fairly recent though and appears to be a glorified ad for the PRO version to my cynical mind.

I did try the search engine and they obviously don't have the resources of Google to be a genuine alternative.

Plus the name is quite silly and annoying!

I have been offline for five days as the Council cut through my Internet connection outside my place.

Yes I did not try it in the end, so after what you said, I think you are right yes it is a daft name I am giving Thorium a try at the moment.

I have tried it. It's OK, but I have nothing to hide and don't mind GOOGLING, still the King, IMO
