At the other end of the spectrum to my building a cheap PC article, we have a money no object (within reason) build that will play any modern game easily. This is mostly in response to someone who asked for a very good gaming PC with a budget of 2.5K which is hard to do unless you go way over the top with the graphics card. I managed to get almost to 2K by picking some desirable rather than essential components, but if i put my sensible head on, I could easily trim £500+ off that and still end up with virtually the same PC. I don't mind splashing out big on a top class motherboard and the CPU and graphics card I picked are widely acknowledged as the best choice for "bang per buck" in a gaming computer. I couldn't really justify the SSD price or the PSU, they are definitely desirable rather than necessary for a quality gaming PC. So if you have £1500 burning a whole in your pocket, that's the way to go!
