Hi jazzazz I'm still here and pop in once a day. I'm leaving this forum running even though it is never going to be like it was back in the old MSN days. Hope all ok with you.

Still here (in spirit at least) Proboards random or non existent announcement of new threads doesn't make it easy to keep in touch or know when there are new posts, but it's obvious people are seeking help elsewhere with this type of forum deemed old fashioned and obsolete - which is a shame.
I'm still doing plenty of computer building/repairing out in the real world, well enough to stop me starving to death at least!

Don't say that, I'd like a few days without putting on a coat/jacket first and a bit of sun - and I gave my Christmas tree away over 20 years ago anyway.

Sun, in Britain, surely you JEST, LOL. Here in CommieFornia our summer hits into over 100F, and often times lasts into Mid Nov. We had a German Foreign exchange student here once, from a family we knew, who going into Nov. asked us, "WHEN IS IT GOING TO START COOLING DOWN. " She couldn't take much more :-)

Cooler here today, forecast just 81F (27.2C).
Got my lawns mowed (Yesterday, edged nicely), Veggie garden planted (6 tomato plants, basil plants, a cucumber, zucchini plant, some seed too). and for the first time plant some (Three perennial flower plants). Will eventually moving to a flower garden, plant by plant, because I am getting too d**n old, LOL (74 in July) to work a veggie garden :-) .
2023 is garden # 24 since retiring. I no longer run my rototiller over the near entire 20' X 20' area, way too much work, but dig up (Holes) where I plant, filling with garden soil, and fertilizer. Last year had a record tomato crop.

Our Mother's Day is on a different day in the UK. It was March 19th this year My Wife had a great Mother's Day, yesterday up at our Son, DIL's home in Sacramento, along with several others, DILs Mom, GrandMa, GrandAunt, and others, around 20 people, good food good time, but was HOT over 90F (32.222C), and set up out in the rear yard.
