Hey do either of you, belong to any other ProBoards GENERAL type discussion grps, that may be a TAD more busy than this one??? :-) No, this evolved from MSN groups as it announced it's imminent closure. It was never that busy with a few dozen regular posters and some new members coming and going. I guess most thought it was too cliquey to stay, although nobody was made to feel unwelcome in any way. This type of message board has simply run it's course as too old fashioned as people flock to Twitter, Instagram and the like, where they can get instant answers via their mobile/cell. I've just had quick look at the Proboards directory and most groups seem dead (2018 ish) or dying. Even with adblocker disabled there are very few adverts which means not many businesses deem it worthwhile advertising here and it's left to us old stalwarts to keep it limping along. I fully expect them to pull the servers and announce closure in the next year or so. |

The grp. that I had a falling out with, the Admin, I knew for over 22 yrs., "Xtreme," is still very much active, and fairly busy. Was just too bad that he and I were like TWO BULLS locking horns :-)>> xtreme-5.freeforums.net/ |
