17 years wow, that's even older than some of my underwear (go with the classics, never fails)
A lot has happened in 17 years, but computer wise, I'm surprised Microsoft still has a stranglehold on operating systems, but Mac OS X and Linux have reduced their share to 66%
I had envisioned a time when only business's would be using it and home users would finally get the message that they don't need the bloated mess that is Windows.
I really don't understand the apparent 'go with what you know' when each Windows is significantly different and requires a learning curve that could be applied to Linux instead.
The vast majority of computer usage is online based, something that can be done with Linux and using the same browsers like Chrome, Firefox or Opera - Baffling!

Before the rise of smartphones and 'Youtube', this was one of the few avenues available to get help.
The latest generation barely use the internet in the conventional way with a computer, but use their phones or tablets instead, so if there isn't an app for it - and there doesn't seem to be one for proboards, then it basically doesn't exist.
Even people who do prefer a more traditional way of seeking help, will use Reddit or Quora instead.
