I have just seen a message in the Shoutbox...
''Hello I am Celia, Pete's wife, just wanted to let you know Pete passed away on 12 August''
I know this forum is not used as much as it once was, like back in the day of MSN message boards, but thought you should all know.
For those that don't know about Pete, he founded Computer Interested Types - CIT - 28th December 1999.
He has always been a gentleman and helpful to everyone over the years and even though CIT is hardly ever needed by anyone anymore, he has always been there for us all and we decided to keep CIT going.
I shall miss you around here Pete....and thank you for always remembering my Birthday - LR xxx

Sorry to hear of Pete's passing, I have fond memories of him making me my first quill signature before I learned to make my own. RIP

So sorry to hear about the passing of Pete. I too have many fond memories of him in all the years we participated in CIT.
Rest in peace Pete, you can teach those angels up there how to make their own quill signature.

Sad news, he started something good here and it's a shame it faded away through lack of use
That's partly my fault for not being here as often, but times change as I slip into my victor meldrew years!
