Virtual box is used when you wish to run other operating systems from within windows (trying them out for example)
If you do not use it uninstalling it will not affect anything else on the PC

Still having issues just with my laptop. It keeps dropping the wifi connection and when I run the trouble shooter it resets the network adapter then it works fine for a few hours then it starts to drop out the wifi? it does not affect anything else. I have reset my Router back to factory settings. The only thing I can think of doing mow is a full system reset of my PC ?

First fix: Disable it in power management: Slide the mouse down to the bottom-right corner, then once your right-side navigation thing pops up go to the top ‘Search’ (ClassicShell: Press the Windows key In the text box at the bottom) type “Edit power plan” and click the result.
Change advanced settings. Open up the “Wireless Adapter Settings” then “Power Saving Mode” and make sure it doesn’t disconnect your wifi to save power by setting (at least AC, but I went with both because I live life on the edge). Switch it up to Maximum Performance which should stop it from disconnecting at random.
This actually worked on my wifes computer for about 6 days when the wifi would start dropping again even when plugged in. As it turns out there’s another place to control a similar setting.
Second fix: Go into your network settings. Control panel again.. Mouse to the bottom-right, ‘Search’ again. This time type “Control panel” and click the result. From here we want “Network and Internet” and then “Network and Sharing Center” and from there “Change adapter settings” (It’s on the left hand menubar)
Right click your wifi adapter -> click Properties -> click Configure -> click Power Management
Uncheck the box “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”. This seems to have worked for me using the second fix thanks Lynnrose x

Probably best to get an external spare or two, both for testing purposes and as an upgrade to the existing one. Unless your laptops are very recent, they won't have the newest AX (so called WI-FI 6) technology and even if they are brand new, they could still have an older standard as both a cost cutting exercise and because AX is new enough not to have been widely adopted yet.
Chances are it might not even have AC (WiFi 5) but be fitted with the even older N standard instead, so an external dongle would definitely boost your signal and range.
USB AC adapters are widely available for around a tenner
