Windows Component Store Corrupt - Error 80073712 Dec 10, 2018 23:41:13 GMT

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and Internet Explorer 11.

As many as thirty Windows Updates have failed to download and the main error is 80073712. I have tried hard to resolve this and 'Fix Widows Update Trouble shooter' identified this error but failed to fix it. Can anyone assist please?

Thanks Lynnrose,

I tried running DISM.exe. It did the Scanhealth part effectively but declined the restore part. Just gave me a log number. I will keep trying. I don't think it would be a good idea for me to reset my computer.
