I have just bought a new computer with Windows 10.
I cannot add Apps or File to the Task bar at the bottom of the screen. I do not have the option to "pin it to the task bar" if a right click and drag the App or File.
A friend of mine says this is a fault and a remedial patch is supposedly on the way from Microsoft.
Any ideas please?
Regards
Mike

Hi Mike You are right, left click the file to pin and right click to open. Just gonna try that myself. Pete.

If you look at your desktop and see the file or app you want to pin to task bar A right Click will bring up a box and you will see one is pin to task bar...click on that and hey presto it works. Pete

You could always get rid of all the Windows 10 layout annoyances by installing classic shell and using something more familiar - anything from XP to Windows 7 www.classicshell.net/
