One that slipped me by. I went looking for it and found it was already installed ! The top art package in Linux has always been 'Gimp', so I was curious to see what 'Krita' had to offer. It seems to have many of the features of Gimp, so it's a good alternative if you find Gimp a bit too daunting. The interface of Krita is a bit more logical and better laid out, so as an occasional dabbler in graphics manipulation, this may become my program of choice Thanks for showing me what was already under my nose

Krita is quite nice but as all programs new to its users it needs some time to get used to it. I like it, gradients look better in krita.
