Well thats not true 1,000 and odd for a house i did not no any body in the 70s that had that much money never mind 1954 when i was came in too being

They said the average price of a London house was £610. They failed to say the Germans were knocking them down, faster than we could put them up. If you had £610 to spend on a house, I bet you couldn't insure it for any price. I dont know who started that website, but they were either Yanks or 12 years old.
