Windows 7 updates.

Windows 7 starter, home.

Having problems installing a huge chunk of updates, (200+) after a full reset.

Each time the process seems to stall on one update and stick there continuously. All I know is it's number 87 which is of little use.

If I try to cancel the whole batch is reset and I'm back to square one.

What do you know?

I decided to try letting it restart again and turned the machine off. On restart it installed the updates.

Be nice if M$ could sort itself out though. This guesswork is becoming silly,
