I have inadvertently deleted my Skype programme and cannot re-install it, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Maybe do a search via Start button, search for Skype and delete anything to do with it that shows up, then try again to re-install x

In order to clear out any dross I usually remove programs using an un-installer program called "Your Uninstaller" on my desktop PC which has never let me down. On my laptop I use "Revo Uninstaller" which is free and works well too.
Setting up Skype seems complicated and I can't load it having reached the open stage?
I am still using Windows 7 Home Premium, I have not yet moved over to Windows 10.

That's very curious.
When you figure it out can you get back for future reference?

Jojo thanks, but once a program is deleted with "Your Uninstaller" (or REVO) I am of the opinion everything is cleared out totally.

Somehting is clearly been left behind, which is making the installer think it is still there. If it were me, I'd be thinking in terms of a reg clean out, possibly using Ccleaner to start. I might also give it a whirl with Rkill, Adwcleaner, Junkware Removal Tool, (Skype has a lot of adware included) and even Combofix. www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/But I'm sure you will have done those things already. As for an unistaller program, I'm not familiar with that one specifically, though I doubt somehting as ubiquitous as Skype can ever really be gone. Older PCs do seem to be having more than their fair share of problesm lately. I suspect M$ is trying to encourage people to buy new ones. My PC is generally, sweet as a nut. (for now). While my wife's PC is acting like a teenager. Still, hope you can figure it put and it will be of interest.
