For those not familiar with earlier versions of bluestacks, it's basically an Android emulator that allows you to play Android phone games full screen on your PC If you've started a game on your phone, you just sign in to bluestacks with the relevant google account and away you go - where you left off on the phone Various versions of 1 have appeared over the last few years, so version 2 has to be something special? Well, the big 'new' thing is to have tabs, so you can run various apps/games at the same time and just switch tabs The idea is flawed in several ways 1) who's so lazy to not just quit one game and start another in the first place? and 2) this obviously uses more resources and slows it down. I guess the idea is to have 'whatsapp' or similar easily available, but surely you don't need that in big screen format when it's probably just as easy to use your phone instead For games it's great, especially if you find playing on a 4 or 5 inch device quite irritating like I do. Is 2 any better than previous versions? Not really, it's just more resource hungry with the tabs a dubious addition You can find the older (and the latest) version(s) here bluestacks-app-player.en.uptodown.com/old

Not used any Android Apps personally, but handy to know if the need arises.

I recently installed my online banking App on my 'phone which is pretty useful and works well, but I may not use it as much as I thought I would.
