H! I have always found it hard to edit photos in Linux and have been looking for a program that will edit Raw & JPG with out having to use two different programs i think i have found one it's called Rawtherapee i use it with Linux Mint and it seems to work well. I was wondering if any body hear has used it ?

I posted a thread about Gwenview which would have been suitable, but it's designed for a KDE desktop I believe which would involve a lot of dependencies for Gnome/Mate based distros like Mint. You could check if it's in the Mint repositories though because it's a lot newer program
Rawtherapee hmm, someone wasn't thinking too clearly when picking that name! I guess it's supposed to be a take on Raw Therapy but it reads like Raw the rapee to me
I googled it and saw the last version was 2009. Nothing wrong with older programs if they still work, but it does mean it will never change or evolve. That's not always a bad thing though, there's a couple of programs I wish hadn't changed, but on the whole newer is mostly better

I will give Gwenview a try & then i will decide which i like Gwenview or Rawtherapee or both.

H! Mikkh, I got round to trying out like Gwenview & Rawtherapee and i like both so i am using both of them, it took a bit to get back to you on this one but i am happy with them both now. and thanks for your help
