Can anyone suggest why, when I load XP, the second disc is not visible in My Computer?
To recap, two drives, one with XP, one with W7. Change from one to other using BIOS.
Generally, the drive being used will be listed as C while the other will be listed as E. For some strange reason, E isn't visible anymore.

Go into Disk Management and give the drive a letter. This often happens when 2 OSs are involved, one sees the drive and the other dont. Give it the same letter as its got with Windows 7, or you will be looking for it every time you change the OS.

First thing I did ken. But thanks for the feedback, really appreciated.
In XP, it isn't there.
The C drive is, as is a 32Gb usb pen drive I have permanently installed as a buffer to store stuff when exchanging data between the two systems.
As I said, all seems fine in W7, just XP.
Reading again, do you mean assigning a specific letter from W7?
I'll give that a try.
