Someone told me Regiscrub (If I have the name correct) has a new name, that it no longer uses the name regiscrub. Does anyone know what it is and where I can download it from???
I did a search and came up with lots of wanna-bes...but I have used the origianal one and it works great. And my comp is screaming for it..heheh
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Susan

RegscrubXP is exactly the same as it always was and the feller that wrote it retired. It only works on XP all versions and Windows 2000. Someone has written RegscrubVista, how good it is I couldn't say. The only thing I do know about it with any certainty, is it's not even related to the excellent RegscrubXP.

Thats the one I meant was not related to Lexun RegscrupXP, only I forgot it had XP added to it. Its written by Nick McCamy who I had never heard of and isnt as easy to use as RegscrubXP. In fact, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who dont know what they are doing. Its not a safe application like RegscrubXP.

Having now tried RegscrubVistaXP, I certainly don't recommend it. It found nearly 1700 registry faults that my other cleaners had missed. It also destroyed my MSN Premium mailbox, which I had to reinstall. My Office 2003 seems to be intact, but there might be faults in other programs that I haven't found yet. RegscrubXP is excellent, but steer clear of the Vista version. It might work OK on Vista, but it needs to be proved by someone running it and I wont.
