For some time now I have been getting a black and white image when accessing TinyPic. In the case of the the Daily Jigsaw, it only posts in colour when one clicks on "PLAY" This is evident on my laptop but works normally on my Desktop PC. I would appreciate some help on this please?

I've noticed this with your jigsaws. I have to say I have no problem with either tinypic (which I uses often) or the jigsaw site.
Is there a problem with your computer, perhaps?
Not sure of the details, OS, make ect.

Hi Jojo, I think it may be a Java problem or something - not sure? I don't have a problem with TinyPic on my Desktop machine either. Windows 7 was was re-formatted recently on this machine by a so called expert Computer business and they made a degree of a mess, most of which I have managed to sort.

I think you updated your Java last time this happened and it worked??
All I could find was this, that is referring to Irfanview though Q: Problem: Since yesterday, IrfanView shows all my images black/white! Why? A: The load option for JPGs "Load as grayscale" in 'Properties->JPG/PCD/GIF' is activated, please uncheck! Note: in the Save dialog, see JPG format save options. The option "Save as grayscale" must not be active.

I have the same issue as Buzzy. I use Win 7 and no Java. It just started recently, but over the years I have found all sorts of odd things happen only to later resolve themselves.

To some degree that is re-assuring at least it is not just my machine, but what the answer is, is puzzling. I have downloaded Java this morning prior to setting up the Daily Jigsaw and it has made no difference whatsoever?

I have tried all the previous remedies listed on here (Grayscale, system restore, etc:) and nothing has improved. The Jigsaw before this one was fine, but upon switching on the laptop this morning the problem is back and I have changed nothing? As soon as Windows 10 is fully evident, I will get a new laptop machine this one has been trouble ever since the so called "expert" worked on it.
