Possible part of COM+ and VSS errors.

Appreciate some advice here.

After a recent crash I checked Event viewer and just before the COM+ and VSS errors listed in the general section, had this information:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( gupdate ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Service stopped.

I should say, HijackThis seemed to have problems running and posted a file asking me to forward it by email. This error, initially, occured several time in succession, until the program actually ran.
