All was well this morning, but I left it on and when I came back to it 2 hours later, just the monitors orange led light on, usually goes green when I move the mouse, then should come on. But it does'nt, I am really stumped. Any ideas.? You remember my other video card went first, so I got it up and running with the built in video card on the mother board. It worked all day yesterday, and came on this morning, but as I say above it failed when I left it on for 2 hours this morning, without use?

I like a nice chilled salad with radishes and hard boiled eggies. I like playing Scrabble, too.

Hi Pete
I had exactly the same thing earlier. I had to turn the PC off with the power button, take the plug out for 30 seconds and try again. This time it worked. When it goes to sleep, do you think it just has trouble waking up? I know I do some days...

Fozzie, You are the best bear ever, it worked, I have been turning the computer off and on all day, but just took out the plug that powers the lot, and it came good, when I put the plug back in. I really was puzzled. Now I am so glad I asked for help. This is a great place. Thanks so much. Pete.

It's a bit of a puzzle, Pete, because you shouldn't have to do it. I still haven't worked out the best way to turn this off. Do I Turn Off, Switch to Standby, Hibernate or just leave it and let it sleep by itself... Too much choice.

Probably best to hibinate, or shutdown really. Still it's something I've not needed to do before today, but hey this is good experience, and will know what to do next time.........Don't panic Capt. Mannering....lol
