I used Puppy with dial up external 56K modem when my Internet sunc was down and now that I got broadband back Puppy refuses to connect. It defaults to external dial up modem and I can see no obvious way to erase that connection. Can you help? Thanks, Alex
PP. I just managed to do it, so don't panic. Alex

I had the same thing years ago Alex, when trying to install some distro. I strained my brain cell for about 10 minutes, took a nap and installed something else. My motto: If at first you dont succeed; you are doing the wrong thing, so give up.
If your a masochist, you can always hope that Mikk comes along.
Well done you sorted it out by yourself.
Go back to sleep Mikk.

Puppy is a live CD with the option of saving your settings - which is what you did I guess
It also has the option (which it shows every boot) to ignore that saved session by typing ....
puppy pfix=ram
