If one right clicks on an open folder a list of options is offered. Is there anyway to delete one or any of these even when one has deleted the program to which it refers?

Thanks Lynnrose, but I think I will leave it alone for now, I hesitate since interfering with the Registry is a dangerous area I am afraid.

A good idea if your not certain about what your doing Buzzy, I never tell anyone to alter the registry. Its safe enough if you do exactly what your supposed to do, but it only take one mistake. If you go to alter one thing and you alter something else, its 10 to 1 you wont even know what it was you altered.
When uninstalling a program, I always make sure its gone from the Program Files. If its still there, delete it. You might have to go into Safe Mode to get it to delete. The Start menu is another place to look as well. As long as its gone from them two places, C Cleaner will do a pretty good job of the registry. C Cleaner Tools is also an easy way to sort out the Start menu, Browser menus and the like.
