Intalled Panda Cloud Antivirus to Win.XP - Disaster.

Hi,
I have been having all kinds of problems after I installed Panda Cloud Antivirus to Win Xp. The Firebird now has Bing toolbar and all kinds of pop-up advertisements. PC- SpeedBoost also kept popping up and I am not sure if I managed to get rid of it. This is worse than a virus. How do I get rid of Bing search engine and its annoying "offers" and restore Google that I had before. Finally, Internet Explorer has disappeared. I hardly ever used it, but I would like to know how it got unistalled without me doing anything.

You have allowed Pands to install advertising.

Remove Panda now. Download thir program if you don't have it and run. That will remove your copy.

You need to do a restart.

Now, re-install but this time, when you see this screen,

Remove the ticks from the three boxes, STARTING WITH THE LOWEST ONE, THEN THE MIDDLE THEN THE TOP.

Once it's been reloaded, make sure you turn off their Data shield. It's a good program but makes it impossible to access the net with anything in your My Documents folder, such as the pic I have uploaded here.

Thank you jojo. I have done as you suggested and I am almost back to normal. Still have Bing toolbar in Firefox and I had to re-install Internet Explorer 8 and its updates. Fortunately, I keep all Setup downloads, so it was quite painless. Interestingly, all my Favourites in the old copy of Internet Explorer re-appeared in the new.
