Hi, just a query regarding 'TinyPic' I think it is a fantastic little program and I am using it more and more for obtaining a code to post pics in various sites. What I would like to know is, - Does just uploading a jpeg give one a code without storing that image?
- You have mentioned that you are storing stuff in there because ImageShack is a little slow sometimes, how does one actually STORE in this program
Thanks for your help

Hi Buzzy, I really like Tinypic at the moment, it is so fast.
You need to register... I have made an album (you can have more than one album) there and have called it CIT, so when I first go to Tinypic, I click on 'Your Stuff,' or 'Albums' at the top of the page Click Browse, find the picture I want to store Change the drop-down arrow to CIT album, then click Upload From that drop down arrow you can also create a new album and upload there They also have a Favourites tab at the top of the page You can click a photo and then from the Toolbox on the left, choose Add to Favourites
"Does just uploading a jpeg give one a code without storing that image?"
If you don't register or log-in, the site will store the pic for you (like Imageshack) anyway if you just want to use a picture without adding it to your own albums because maybe you don't want to use it again.
Hope that has answered your questions?

I haven't registered in Tinypic, all I have done so far is uploaded various files, got (say) an code and popped that into here or elsewhere. What I needed to know is what happens to that image when one logs off, is it stored or just discarded? Sorry if I didn't explain myself very well.

It stays there What you can do is save the page to your favourites so you can find it again
