As you know, I have a Kindle Fire HD.
I have been doing alot of research on it, as I haven't used it as much as I should have, since I bought it.
I have been determined to find out how I can get some programs on it to watch on a long plane journey.
I have sorted that by using a YouTube app...
We watch alot of films, buying DVD's...cheaper than going to the Cinema, but being aware of Netflix, LoveFilm etc it's not something we wanted to get into, so I thought, right time to buy a Smart TV....
Then I saw the article in the Daily Mail ref Amazon
''Amazon's pay TV package to rival Netflix: Online
giant plans new service that will offer video streaming, high-speed
delivery on orders and ebook downloads - Retailer will offer a package of LoveFilm Instant, one-day Prime delivery and access to the Kindle library for £79 a year
Sooo.....I spent most of today researching connecting my Kindle Fire HD to our TV, popped to Tesco, bought a Micro-HDMI to HDMI cable and hey presto, works perfectly.
On Wednesday 26th Feb, the Movies and TV will become available
Bonus....I have just joined Amazon Prime for £49 instead of £79 and get a month's trial first
Fantastic!
If any of you have a Kindle HD and fancy this...do it now. Seems to be four days left to get it at £49!
What else you get in the package...
For £49/year, Amazon Prime members enjoy:
Unlimited One-Day Delivery on millions of eligible items
Express Delivery for £4.49 per item (delivery before 1pm)
Evening Delivery for £7.48 per item (selected addresses)
Over 500,000 popular Kindle books to borrow for free, with no due dates
Share your shipping benefits - (up to four household members may share delivery benefits of this membership)
I am so happy!
