With M$ loosing interest and abandoning support for XP, I think I need to start thinking of another anti-virus program.
Looking, ideally, for something which is reliable, cheap or free, (but will pay for extra quality), use little resources, and taking small space.
I know some of these things can take longer to load than Windoze!

I have been using Panda Cloud Antivirus for well over a year without any problems. Its free, its quiet and doesn't use any resources.

Ditto to Ken,
I have been using Panda a/v for several months with no adverse effects which was recommended by Mikkh.

Yeah, every (Windows) PC that leaves my house has Panda Cloud on it. I did a bit of research last week to see if anything new had entered the market that had maybe slipped my attention - didn't find anything.
Of course if you used Linux, you wouldn't need one ;o)

There was another Cloud AV came out after Panda, it was supposed to be much better than Panda. Black Diamond, Black Pig, Black something or other BETA. I ran it for about a week on one computer, it was nothing but trouble and I took it off and put Panda back. I looked for it a bit later, to see if they had fixed the BETA and brought out a proper product. It was nowhere to be found in any form whatsoever. I ran Panda on 4 computers for about 6 months before I recommended it to anyone. Everything else is getting fatter and fatter, you need 4 GB RAM for the AV alone.

I don't any more. I dumped Panda.
Including an intrusive pop-up, which appears at awkward times, is hypocrisy by Panda.
If they are going to justify this, then what else can they justify?
If I employ a policeman, I don't expect him to steal from me in exchange for not letting anyone else do it.
