Thanks johnnybee but search- nation is a hidden device that makes itself your primary search engine all traces of it I have deleted but it still pops up as my search engine.Going into safari preferences and changing makes no difference search nation still pops up as the main search engine.I need some kind of software that will find it and remove it from were ever it is hidden.

Ben, me ole mate, I did a quick sweep on Google and came up with the link I gave you; however, I think it would prob'ly be in your interests to do a bit of hunting for yourself - as far as I know you're the only MAC user on here, and MAC problems need a different approach to those you tend to get on Windows. I can only suggest you cast around the net (using Google or similar) to find a forum or a MAC-specific site that might have the answer you're looking for. Best of luck and good hunting, mate!

Download CCleaner for Mac. Open up Safari, navigate to Help. Select Installed Plug-Ins and look for searchnation, search.nation.com or anything similar. Remove plugin Run CCleaner and delete the excess files it finds (you may have to close the browser to run CCleaner)
