As you have probably noticed, our faithful old forum 'ain't like it used to be!'...but if you fancy just logging in for two minutes and leave us a message here...we would love to hear from you .....comments ref, how you spend your 'online' time, eg. I am in and out several times a day, it would be a disaster if CIT were to cease. I think social media has a lot to answer for and the hot weather is not conducive to sitting in front of a PC.

Thanks for the email to all. You are doing a great job Lynnrose, just think that the heat wave isn't helping either. Have noticed we get lots of guests coming by. We must all keep in touch, if possible.
I don't like twitter, so the forums are best for me.

I do not regard this forum as an alternative to facebook, twitter etc., but a place where I can get help if my computer misbehaves. It would be a great loss if it ceases to exist. Please do not "take advantage of the weather" or you will expose yourself to sunburns which will add 10 years on you and ruin your skin for good.

I too miss the old msn group set up, which I found more user friendly, but to be honest I haven't been in many of my groups of late, I have been busy with my shop. I opened a flower shop this year, so I have been busy with stuff for there.
I do pop in here now and again, I also use facebook quite a lot. I have to say though it is nice to come in here and see the forum still running, I will try and participate a little more.

Hi everyone, its the lurker here . Have got your email Lynnrose and yup - the address is real . Have finally got the outstanding Windows 7 problem sorted by wiping and a complete reinstall. Took me at least 6 attempts to get it right . All I can say is that the windows 7 partitioning tool is crap! We are still enjoying the nice hot weather here in the northeast but have forecast a cooler weekend but still, it will still be over 15C. Have thought about the revival of the old Friday night chat so what do everyone thinks? Unfortunately I will not be there tonight as I will still need to reinstall all the other softwares deleted

I am not using the app. Well i dont think i am lol. I am using my smart phone though. Must dust off my laptop and look around the group more.

I prefer using my desktop PC for everything. I only use my iPod Touch for contacting my daughter in OZ, checking emails etc For main use, you can't beat sitting at a desk with a 'proper' computer

LR - I agree entirely, I use (Kelly) my desktop PC mainly, it has USB3 sockets too which make life a lot faster generally. "Junior Buzzy" (Laptop) works pretty hard too.

"Kelly" is derived from Kelly Holmes being fast and beautiful. Previous PC was called "Kylie"

I have moved house and my flat is too small to take a computer desk. I am now too lazy to set up the laptop every day so i just use the phone. :-(
