Hi its been a while since Ive been on the site as Ive been out of the country,I was quite surprised, and impressed with the changes that have been made to the site.
My problem is' frequentlly when I click on a link or go to website a completely different web page comesup- quite often something similar to the one that I am intending to go to. I have a feeling that some sort of trojan or likewise is affecting the pc. Has anyone had this problem and if so what's the remedy. I have scanned with adaware but that hasn't helped.

Ad-aware is next to useless IMO, finding little more than tracking cookies usually.
You need something better suited to the job like the MalwareBytes program

Depending how badly infected you are, you may need something even stronger like 'ComboFix' (see the useful utils section)
