(color=green)(size=12)(font=arial)(color=green)(size=12)(font=arial)(color=green)(size=12)(font=arial)After all my going to and fro a few days ago I thought I would go back to an old thread and see if I could change my font.

This is what I put in to modify my profile:-

Begin: (color=green)(size=12)(font=arial)
End: (/color)(/size)(/font)

Then I clicked 'Modify' but when I went to Preview all I got was what I had typed at 'Begin' and 'End' and ,of course this 'Post' in between!!

So, what did I do wrong?

So many others got it right I feel such an idiot!!

Whilst I have the floor, I have also been trying to put my mugshot on the Profile, as I did when I first registered. I can see all the avatars that some members have used, but can't see how to put in an image from one's own 'Pictures' folder. Will you help me too here please.

Hi Oldie,
For your Avatar, you need to upload your picture to TinyPic, or Photobucket.
I use TinyPic
Then copy the URL, from Direct Link for Layouts....and paste it in the Avatar area via Profile[/size][/color]

For your font preferences, you don't use 'normal' brackets, you use these ones....[[/size][/color]

That's better; I fondly imagined that the font size would be the same as it is in, say, Word. Ah well its never too late to learn![/font][/color][/size][/font][/color][/size][/font]
