Well, everything was going great and everything is working, BUT...everytime I click on Admin, so I can make some changes and add some plug-ins etc, I get the following, darn, I will just have to be patient

I have changed my website to work with V5, and it's okay, but I can't get shoutbox to work on this site or mine. Does it work for you Lynnrose? It worked okay until today.

Well, I could type in the message, then hit the send button, but there was no response, ie it did not end up in the shout box. Now though it seems to have settled down and it works okay, for the moment anyway.....thanks for all your help. |

Sorry to butt into this convo you pair, but it seems we have a spammer in our midst, name of Plumgallmann. Could one of you load him into the demiculverin and light the touch-hole?

Not sure if this is the right thread to post!
Does anyone having problem accessing threads that spans multiple pages? (eg: Hello and goodbye)
When I access such a thread the page index at the top of the page greyed out and left click on the last page have no effect however, right click and open in new tab load the required page as normal!
Anyone else having the same problem? It is not a big deal but just curious.

Hi Lynnrose - It must be the browser I am using. I have been using Waterfox and Palemoon 64 bits browsers. Switching to Firefox 3.6 and the page index works ok

Its funny how all these wonderful browsers get all kinds of bother, yet good old fashioned IE just keeps plodding on regardless.

Waterfox is a third party 64 bit compilation based on Firefox source code which have been approved by Mozilla.
Seem problem is not with the browser after all! Have gone to yahoo news to watch video news but ads came back when it shouldn't. Checked extensions and addon found afre of them are missing. Come to this site and the index now works ok. Problem could be caused by some of the extension or addon installed which have now disappeared.

Most of these things will work, but not always by default. Unless you know exactly what your looking for, it can be frustrating trying to change the settings. Well done if you have got it worked out.
IE tend to be the other way and it comes with everything turned on by delault and you have to turn off what you dont want. I knew exactly what I didn't want in IE v.9 and luckily when I upgraded to v.10 it kept the same settings. I also use MSN Premium browser, which is quite different to IE. It is founded on IE and I have to be careful of how I set IE. Some of the Internet Options for IE, effect how MSN behaves. It took me a little while it figure out why MSN was misbehaving, but both browsers are working smoothly now and I have no reason to use anything else. I still try out products occasionally, out of boredom mainly. Windows comes with products preinstalled; unless I have got a good reason to replace what I've got, I cant see any point in it.
