I normally flit through my fvourite sites a few times a day just to keep up with what's going on. Not what you'd call OCD exactly, but I keep checking for emails throughout the day - a habit I got into when I was on the council.

I like a nice chilled salad with radishes and hard boiled eggies. I like playing Scrabble, too.

I think a lot of it has to do with the times we live in, Lynne; when PC's were 'new-tech' and we moved from the good old days of DOS, everyone was on a bit of a steep learning curve while getting the hang of Win 95 and the apps that went with it. Now nearly twenty years later, we've all been through several evolutions in terms of hardware and software, both of which have become a lot easier to deal with and a darn sight more reliable. Whereas at one time if something went wrong with the system you had to be pretty well 'all about' to find and rectify the fault, now enough people have been around computers for long enough to be able to put things right for themselves. The latest touchscreen craze is just another evolution of what we already had; however if you look at my other post tonight, people are now finding that touch tech is very limited as to what it can do, and is also very time-limited in operation. As one example, my Samsung S3650 fone is only just two years old, yet even now the screen plays up if you try to use the WP for too long - after around ten minutes it freezes and the fone reboots. Times change, and so do people!

Forums in general are becoming less popular and I find this very upsetting. It started with the decline of the (Friday) chat room and let's face it today's TV offerings are no substitute in fact very often quite boring with all the troubles around the world being constantly rammed down our throats.
I come into CIT several times a day and the whole concept is kept alive and enjoyable by Lynnrose without whom I fear CIT would not continue to be as successful as it is. The long standing loyal members are to be congratulated, maybe a few would come back if Proboards V5 was easier to manage, but it does become less traumatic as one gets used to it.

I would call in more but I have problems finding my way around the site, it ain't as easy as it used to be. I use to call in every day and had lots of friends here to chat to and friendly banter with, and would never miss Coffee bar on Friday night. As I mentioned in "Shout" I should call in more often as my computer is soooo slow now All the Very Best Straker
