Apart from that initial scare, I've not read any complaints about the Kindle Fire. I normally read about the good and bad of new devices. I actually subscribe to Which and that gives pretty good descriptions of whats on the market, from the consumers point of view. As a subscriber you can dig a lot deeper than the free view and you get a much truer insight than anything the egg-spurts tell you.

I got the new Nexus 7 today, got a 5mp camera front and 1.2 screen side. Takes good pics too. Nice to watch videos on, and read Ebooks. Don't like Chrome so far, but will get used to it, I suppose.

Well, I have to admit, I have hardly used my Kindle Fire! I guess I didn't really need it. I use my desktop, Kindle and iPod Touch all the time and can't even remember the last time I switched on my laptop either!

This is a very interesting thread. I have thought about a Kindle, but unlike Lynnrose I basically live and die on my ACER ASPIRE Laptop, I use it everyday and have a portable USB external HDD attached to it also. I have had it for around 2 years and it has proved to be very useful and reliable and replaces my previous ASUS machine which was about 5 years old. My desktop PC is used for serious data which is a very hard working machine also with an external 1GB HDD.
I recently upgraded my 'Phone to a Samsung Galaxy, which I find far more useful than my previous Nokia Lumia, just wondering if one can download a spreadsheet program to it?

I would have thought that there'd be a library of downloadable apps for the Galaxy, Buzz - have you tried going onto the Samsung site and having a look-see?
