I'm currently having a conversation, on Facebook, with a nephew, who thinks this is really good.
I have worked in these server rooms in IBM and DR. All I remember was, the lecture I was given of what would happen to me if I so much as disconneced even one cable without permission, the cold, and the constant noise.
I will acknowledge that, properly constructed, the wiring can be very stylish. Also, a large panel of coloured LEDs flashing in their own patterns can be interesting. But the cold, the hum and the knowledge that, one mistake could cost trillions, took the shine off that.
I was offered a permanent job on the staff, in one of the IBM branches I worked in. Needless to say, I turned it down. There are easier ways to earn a living.

Info here....I like it coz as you browse the web and find something interesting, just click on your Pin It button on toolbar to add to one of your boards. |

Its not much more than an expensive browser. You can type letters and stuff and print, but Google Print is still in BETA. Not having a hard drive you cant install your own programs and are totally reliant on whatever Google have available. Individuals all have their favourite programs, I wouldn't have thought that anyone would want to be too limited and you certainly will be if you buy one of these. Its over 700 quid cheaper than my new laptop, but it wont ever be on my shopping list.

Hey Lynnrose, I have never watched Emmerdale I am more of a "Neighbours" Person. Nice weather, intruiging story line (at the moment) and no shouting and such like "Eastenders" I do like animal programs as well, bit of a softee for our 4 legged friends such as dogs and farm animals, especially horses. Snacks - Hmm, couple of pints of the amber nectar and a bag of crisps.
