Just checked out Proboards, a few people saying they won't join FB to get the Beta, but Proboards say that is the only way to try out before version 5 is rolled out.

This forum is currently being copied to run ProBoards Version 5. This process may take up to 45 minutes depending on the size of your forum.

Here's a peek...so much to see and try out.
As you can see on picture, space for you to put your status and change it whenever you wish...you can add Friends, Follow members, give a Gift (doubt that will get used coz the gift is virtual cookies and costs money lol)...make your own Avatar

Any Admins that run Proboards...
You will love the Admin section.
The Auto Save is a great idea! Whatever you click on to change in that section will automatically Save
Also, fantastic, easy Theme Creator etc to change your colours of your website.

New thing I have found...........
RSS Feed on the Homepage.
I clicked on it and chose subscribe with Live Bookmark and saved it to favs (Firefox) and it lists a load of threads. I am guessing that the point of this is that you can check your Bookmarks for new threads instead of coming straight to the Forum itself?
To be honest, I don't know a great deal about RSS Feeds, so could be wrong?

Sounds good, and looks good. Now my only concern is how fast it loads on computers with slow (dial-up modems) connections. Since I'm not a moderator I'd say lets go feet first, and hope for the best.

Mmmmmm I am noticing a few things missing eg the games (Arcade) board...the flash games are missing, but I will be adding a plugin for that at some stage. Also, when the Beta V5 was done, it copied everything from our usual board on that date and will not add anything after that until the 'Big Switch-over! Plus any previous pictures on threads/posts are all missing. Plus no Image Uploader. When a Plugin has been made for this, all should be back to normal
