My AVAST programme stopped working so I decided to delete it and reinstall. However, I keep getting the following "C:Programe files\ALWALSOFTWARE/AVASTSETUP|" cannot continue.

also the 'Shield protection module is not running'

Any ideas on how to delete this programme so that I can reinstall it later?
