Hi again, you luuurvely people, got a query that someone might know the answer to, if you'd be so kind. Several of my regular websites - the chief one being eBay - display the info bar on top of the page that says 'an active x control on this page has failed to run. Check your settings in Internet properties to rectify this problem'. It doesn't tell me what control it is, or how to go about resetting it, so okay, what needs to be changed to get rid of this annoying popup? Any ideas?
JB.

Your guess is as good as mine John, I haven't got anything turned on that should stop it and it doesn't always pop up. As eBay site works OK, I ignore the bugger and carry on. If something didn't work I would have investigated the cause, but nothing has stopped me bidding yet. At times I wish it had.
