Since there seems to be a general interest in friendly banter and exchange of photos, I thought some might be interested in a few more. This is an image of a flower display on the front of my house in 2008. In this town there are regular flower display competitions and our street won several years in a row, until a few over competitive types tried to organise it. For houses that have no front gardens, wining several years in a row, (6 I think), was pretty impressive, even if I do say so.

This is a image of a vegatable display at one of the local shows a few years ago. Personally, I don't enter these things, I prefer flavour. But I do like the colours. The gentleman taking a closer look was a pilot on Hurrican bombers during the Battle of Britain. He still excercises his right to fly his RAF flag outside his home. I doubt many will want to stop him.

If he has to get that close to see a basket of vegetables, he might not have noticed his ensign is still flying.
Good on him, he earned the right to fly it if anyone did.

This is an image of Portsmouth University taken from the roof of the Biology block. As you might expect, the roof of the Biology block is utilised for various projects, mainly growing flys. Most wouldn't realise just how useful flys are.

Flies are very useful Jojo, they stop things dropping out at inopportune times.
