You read 441 words per minute. That makes you 76% faster than the national average.
I like the extra information on how long classic books would have taken you, if maintaining that speed - 18 hours to read Lord of the Rings! It seemed a lot longer

Yeah, Huckleberry Finn I remember reading in one go and it certainly didn't take the time they said, or maybe it did and I was that engrossed I didn't notice. Must be 40 years since I read it

If you maintained this reading speed, you could read
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy in 26 hours and 19 minutes
Who would want to?

Hi, I'm new. I'm an avid reader and read a book a day.
I read 655 words a minute and 162% faster that the average.
Not too bad for someone with vision problems!

I love my Kindle, Lynnrose. I mostly use the one on the computer. I have a ton of books, maybe I have something you would like. Who do you read?

Well, I was given tons of paperbacks a few months ago and was determined to read them all before I started on my Kindle, but I couldn't resist any longer and started on the Kindle lol, so I have loads of paperbacks sitting on my shelves that I will probably take to the charity shop. I love, love, love my Kindle! I read a variety of genres. Here are the books I have on my Kindle...have not read them all yet.
Here is the Book Club thread

I'm not familiar with Lee Child. King I have read a lot.
What about Koontz, Lynnrose? I have a lot of his books. I have Diane Chamberlain also if you ever want one of her books.
Thanks for the link to the book area.
